February 22, 2018One of our very own doctors, Dr. Jeff Gerson, not only sees patients in clinic, but he also spends time travelling and lecturing at conferences for optometrists all around the world. In the months of February and March, he will travel to 7 different places to lecture, including a school of optometry to talk to students, and to major meetings in Vancouver, Atlanta and New York City.

Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of vision loss for people ages 60 and older in the United States. The most recent statistics show that over 10 million Americans have AMD.

People with Glaucoma often have pressures inside the eye that are too high. Increased eye pressure leads to irreversible damage to the optic nerve and ultimately, permanent vision loss.
